A Lovely Memory!

I'm writing this post to express and share a great memory that I have.

Playing the piano is my hobby... I'm not a professional player, I just love and enjoy playing it. It really gives a different meaning of life. It is full of sensation, beauty, love, peace and care. When I'm happy I express my happiness with it, and when I'm mad or annoyed, I find it as a shelter to unload some hidden feelings...

I'm used to listening to music during anything I do. Few days ago.. I was listening to some songs of my favorite artist lady Majida El Roumi... I noticed a prayer she sang for Virgin Mariam. From the links which appeared, I found a prayer for Sayeda Mariam which I'm familiar with. My grandmother - God bless her soul - taught me how to play that prayer on the piano when I was 11 years old, and we used to perform it together: me playing, and my grandma singing... It is really a lovely memory...

I tried before to search multiple times for it, but with no success. So I was very happy to hear it again... When I found it, it was like a missing treasure. I never heard it from anyone else rather than my grandmother. She is the one who taught how to play the piano, and she has taught me a lot of musical notes. As a memorial for my grandmother, I recorded the prayer notes which I know, named "Salam laki ya Mariam" and I played after it another prayer which my grandmother also taught me.

It is just notes for right hand... I switch hands in it and sometimes play with both hands together. Maybe it is different from the original, but that's what my dear grandmother taught me :) ... I love this memory.

What is Art of Imagination?

Asalamo Alykom,

This is my first post on my blog :) . Welcome!

I was wondering what to name my blog. After a lot of thinking, I named it 'Art of Imagination'. Why...? I just believe that our life is an imagination; a dimension of fancy.

Everything what people did in this world is based on their ability to imagine. All this civilization, progress, and technologies came from people who thought, imagined, and dreamed, people who were inspired and guided by God's creation and creativity.

By the way, I love to read quotes. This is a quote that we should follow:

"Dreams are free, so free your dreams." ~Astrid Alauda

Art... Art is a blessing. It is what purifies our souls. Art makes the person fly to another world, gives them a different view and feeling of life. Each one of us is full of art. Just know how to find it, and use it right!

Art is everywhere. Just look. Nature, Music, Knowledge, and Science are Art. The ability to write books, draw, dance, invent, sing, imagine, think... all of these are kinds of art. Art has a characteristic of being endless, it has no limits! But I really have to confess that Nature is the master piece. It is the source of art. Thank you God for this blessing.

Look at the nature. Tell me what you see, what you feel, what you got inspired with? That is creativity by itself. The colors, harmony, charm, and tune of wind talk directly with the soul. Enjoy!

For myself, I love to play the piano, to embroider, and to draw. I really enjoy and love every kind of the endless art. I'm studying technology... I love this field... Technology is an art, since it is endless. What encouraged me about technology is that it keeps updating; there is a new invention every moment. Technology is part of nature, the physics, the unconventional and weird thoughts. It's an adventure.

I like to spend my time with music. I'm desperately anxious to have more time to spend with my piano. Playing the piano really relieves the soul. It holds you up in an imaginary world.

We say: "Someone is talented! Wow"... Yes! How lovely! Why don't you also have a talent? Art is in you, Art is around you, so find what matches your soul, and go for it!

What differs from person to another in imagination is the way they imagine. The way is based on the personal touch of each one's mind and soul. Their own Art!

Here is another two quotes that worth to be read, and not only read, but also followed:

"I paint objects as I think them, not as I see them." ~Pablo Picasso

"Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the thinks you can think up if only you try!" ~Dr. Seuss, Oh, the Thinks You Can Think!

Each one of us understands this life differently, imagines differently, and finds their own embedded art. Just try to imagine, to capture thoughts in your mind, and search for your soul, and raise your art. And so comes the 'Art of Imagination'.

Don't be afraid from imagination. Yes it is the unknown, the complex and unbeleivable thoughts. But yet, it deserves to be tried.

To live your life right, you should find your own art of imagination!
