A Lovely Memory!

I'm writing this post to express and share a great memory that I have.

Playing the piano is my hobby... I'm not a professional player, I just love and enjoy playing it. It really gives a different meaning of life. It is full of sensation, beauty, love, peace and care. When I'm happy I express my happiness with it, and when I'm mad or annoyed, I find it as a shelter to unload some hidden feelings...

I'm used to listening to music during anything I do. Few days ago.. I was listening to some songs of my favorite artist lady Majida El Roumi... I noticed a prayer she sang for Virgin Mariam. From the links which appeared, I found a prayer for Sayeda Mariam which I'm familiar with. My grandmother - God bless her soul - taught me how to play that prayer on the piano when I was 11 years old, and we used to perform it together: me playing, and my grandma singing... It is really a lovely memory...

I tried before to search multiple times for it, but with no success. So I was very happy to hear it again... When I found it, it was like a missing treasure. I never heard it from anyone else rather than my grandmother. She is the one who taught how to play the piano, and she has taught me a lot of musical notes. As a memorial for my grandmother, I recorded the prayer notes which I know, named "Salam laki ya Mariam" and I played after it another prayer which my grandmother also taught me.

It is just notes for right hand... I switch hands in it and sometimes play with both hands together. Maybe it is different from the original, but that's what my dear grandmother taught me :) ... I love this memory.
